Your healing journey may need a different route.

You've done the work. The therapy, the journaling, the boundaries, the breathwork. And still… the path feels blocked. Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) is a legal, medically supervised way to open that path, with a therapist beside you the whole time.

Hi, I’m Monique.

I'm sure you have questions about Ketamine-assisted Psychotherapy (KAP). I did too; a LOT of questions. But after learning about the research and possibilities with Ketamine-assisted Psychotherapy, I was eager to see how it could help me.

The experience changed my life. Now, I want to share the benefits of KAP with my clients, friends, family, and you. Explore this page to learn more about Ketamine, Ketamine-assisted Psychotherapy, and my own experience.

What is ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, and how does it work?

Here's the plainest way I can say it:

When something hurts us deeply, the mind does what it was built to do: it protects. It builds walls around the painful thing so we can keep going. Keep working, keep parenting, keep surviving. The problem? Those walls don't come down just because we're finally safe. They stay up, and sometimes they keep us from reaching the very thing that needs our attention most.

Ketamine, in a carefully measured therapeutic dose, softens those walls for a window of time. Not to break you open, but to let you in. With a trained therapist guiding and grounding you, you can access what's underneath in ways that talk approaches alone sometimes can't reach. Then, in integration sessions afterward, we make meaning of what surfaced, so the insight becomes change you can live in, not just an experience you had once.

KAP pairs a legal, prescribed medicine (sublingual ketamine lozenges) with real psychotherapy: preparation before, support during, and integration after. The medicine opens the path. The therapy is how you walk it.

Is it safe? And am I a candidate?

Honest answer: KAP is safe when it's done right, and doing it right is the whole design of this program.

I partner with Journey Clinical, a specialized medical team that independently handles the medical side of your care: a full medical intake, eligibility screening, prescribing, dosing decisions, and ongoing medical monitoring. I provide the therapy: preparation, dosing support, and integration. Two sets of trained eyes, each doing what we're trained to do.

That also means something worth saying plainly: not everyone is approved for KAP. Certain heart conditions, some medications, uncontrolled high blood pressure, pregnancy, and certain psychiatric histories can make ketamine unsafe. If Journey Clinical's medical team determines KAP isn't right for you, we'll talk about what is, because the goal was never the medicine. The goal is your healing.

Safety practices you can expect: medical clearance before any dosing, blood pressure and heart rate checks around sessions, a required support person nearby for telehealth dosing sessions, secure medication storage, and no driving for 24 hours after a session. This is clinical care, held with warmth, but held to standard.

What does it cost?

KAP is a real investment, in money and in yourself.

The right package depends on things a page can't know: your history, your goals, and how many sessions your path calls for.

That's why we walk through the full breakdown together on your consultation call: session rates, package options, and what Journey Clinical's medical services cost separately. No pressure, no surprises, just a clear picture built around you.

Aetna members in Georgia and California: your preparation and integration sessions are covered by insurance; you pay out of pocket only for the dosing sessions themselves.

CareCredit financing is accepted, so you can spread the investment over time. Learn more about CareCredit.
